About Fortunesah
We provide modular shipping containers being converted into fully functioning approved housing. We believe this is an appropriate, cheaper alternative to emergency accommodation. These modular containers offer appropriate accommodation for the homeless / asylum seeker population. An added advantage are that these are recycled one use containers.

Our Sites:
Our aim with this accommodation is to set up site locations across different areas with your help. Each site will be fully staffed with your normal day to day running staff, chefs to provide meals each day & mental health experts for one to one or group weekly meetings.
We would like each site to consist of up to 12 containers providing a maximum of 48 rooms, the layout of these would consist of each container consisting of 4 accommodation rooms. However any configuration can be accommodated either smaller or larger.
We would also like to add meeting areas for residents & staff to be able to sit down with their clients & a dining area for tenants to eat.
Meals:
Included with each room will be breakfast, lunch & dinner. During COVID we was tasked with providing meals for up to 70 clients 7 days a week which we managed successfully with very positive feedback. We already have menus and experience in catering for multiple different dietary requirements so this is something we would like to include on each site. Alternatively, we could provide a kitchen where clients could cook for themselves, but we feel providing meals would work far better.
Accessibility:
All our accommodation will be positioned and placed in a way that they are easily accessible for clients. Each container will also be fitted with a number entry lock meaning no keys can be lost & tenants could arrive 24 hours a day making out of hours placements easier to manage.
Storage Facilities:
As we are aware sometimes clients can come through with a large number of possessions, as these containers are designed to utilize space as efficiently as possible without limiting peoples’ personal requirements, we aim to provide areas on each site where tenants can safely store & access possessions when necessary.
Portability:
These containers are designed to be portable. The electrics, water in & waste out all being easily attached & detached when needed. As a result of this if a site ever needed to be moved or rearranged this can be done easily.

Mental Health:
We also aim to provide the right support to homeless & to asylum seekers who are struggling with their mental health and feel there is no way back into normal society/living by having a team of mental health experts on site for one to one meetings when they are ready. This will consist of a rehab recovery program dealing over a 20 week period with addiction & how it plays out in its various forms. The services provided in a group setting primarily but can be catered for one to one therapy although it is noted that individuals respond best to treatment when treated together. Our team prefer a nurturing approach with an emphasis on education & empowerment to move forward. They are there to help clients put this phase of their life behind them & start anew.

Staffing & Security:
A full staff & security team will be working 24/7 on site so regardless of the time or day people can arrive to their accommodation when ever it is needed.

Maintenance:
All aspects of maintenance will be covered by ourselves, if any panelling or fixtures inside the accommodation become damaged or faulty, this will be replaced by our maintenance team free of charge.

Resources:
Wifi will be available across all of our container locations as well as access to computers so people can search for jobs, communicate with their local council, access email & receive help in creating CV's and applying for jobs.
